February had no signs of slowing down for the Louisville Real Estate Market. Louisville Realtors were faced with an inventory down 30% from 10 years ago with available units averaging right around 3,000. With such low inventory, Realtors in Louisville saw average days on market for listings drop to 48 days compared to 59 a year ago.
The Louisville Real Estate market also saw a 3.7% increase in home sales and a 5.3% increase in home price. These statistics are based on data analysis by The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors (GLAR). February broke 10-year records for Louisville Real Estate. Total homes sold 1,111, average selling price $202,000, median selling price $168,000, average days on market 48, and cumulative days on market 66 are all 10-year highs or lows respectively.
